Product features
Security and safety: The SecureGuard helps you putting the hip belt suitable above the hip bones of your child. The SICT-technology protects in case of an accident with the side-impact-protection. The child is protected additionally against all sides through the sidewalls.
Adjustable headrest: Even older children are protected by the headrest, if they are strapped with the 3-point-safetybelt in the car seat. And you only need one hand to adjust it very easily in the necessary poisition (right above the shoulders of the child) even if your child already sits in the seat. The ergonomics of the headrest supports the head of the child likewise when it sleeps.
V-formed backrest: It gives more free movement and it is supportive for the childs gorwth.The backrest aligns automatically the seat to the angle of your car seat and adapts perfectly to your childs body. The child will not only be adapted optimal to the seat itself it will sit comfortably also.
High backrest: The high backrest protecs your child in three ways, espially in case of an side-impact. The head is protected to the hip with the help of the sitting bowl. The padded, stable headrest safes the neck of your child comfortably and the belt guides, up and down , put the car-belt on the right place.
The side-impact-protection (SICT): Your child will be very effectivly protected with the side-impact-protection. The forces that would hit your child in case of an accident will be derived away from your child and reduced. To get sure that the child is protected opitmal direct the SICT-Technology towards the side of the door.
Ergonomic seat: The seat is about 20 % bigger then other child seats and gives the child free movement. Long journeys will get more bearable with this seat. The optimized form and the extra soft padding let it become ergonomic and convenient.
SecureGuard: The stomach of your child is a sensitive part that needs to be protected in particular. So with another 4th attachement point of the 3-point-carbelt, the optimizied position of the hip belt above the hip bones of your child and the SecureGuard will reduce the power, a frontal collision would release but gives the child although enough freedom for movement during a ride.
Neck- and breast-protection: Sometimes a collision happens beofre you can realize.To prevent your child from following damages such collisions could trigger, the sensitive parts of the neck and the breast, are protected by the perfect protection device of the KIDFIX III - the impact dampening XP-PAD foampillow. It prevents the chin from hitting the breast because the impacting forces will be reduced about 30%. Also the neck wont be strained and the head wont swing strongly. A comfortably padding protects against the edges of the safety belt.
Removable coverage: The simple to wash and durable material of the coverage, is very easy to clean and to maintain. When you have a child in the car it often gets dirty or something dumpes out. A moveable coverage like this is the perfect solution to be able to use it immediately.

Only with the belt
With the belt alone, you can install the car seat only with the 3-point-belt of the car. With that it will be possible for the car seat to suite for cars that do not have the ISOFIX-attachment-points. Just follow the belt guids in seat of the car to install the car seat right.

The Kidfix III seat should be installed with the 3-point-belt in your car and with the ISOFIX-anchoring-points. Only like that way you will make sure, that the car seat is anchored firmly in the car. Even if the child isnt sitting in it.
